Paste data from the clipboard into the current point map.

Into a point map, it is possible to paste:

Mind:

The map from which you have cut or copied points, segments, polygons or pixels must have the same domain type (i.e. either class, ID, or value, etc.) as the point map into wish to paste these points, segments, polygons or pixels.

This means that it is not possible to paste for instance copied contour segments (values) into a point map which uses a class domain and vice versa.

To paste:

In case you cut or copied from a map with a class or ID domain, and now pasting this into a point map which uses another class or ID domain, the program will try to add any domain items which are not yet present in the domain of the current map to the domain of the current map. A question will be asked to confirm this.
