How to edit objects
There are several ways to edit objects:
- From the Edit menu in the Main window, choose Edit Object and select the object you want to edit;
- Double-click the Edit item in the Operation-tree or the Operation-list and select an object to be edited;
- Drag an object from the Catalog to the Edit command in the Operation-tree or the Operation-list;
- Use the right mouse button on an object in the Catalog, and choose Edit from the context-sensitive menu;
- Open the object (e.g. by double-clicking it in the Catalog), when it is possible to edit the object, you will probably find a useful command on the Edit menu in the window in which the object is opened;
- Type Edit or Edit objectname.ext on the command line of the Main window.
Maps can also be edited from within a map window: choose Edit Layer on the Edit menu of the map window.
Tables can directly be edited from within a table window.
Service objects can also be edited when a map is displayed in a map window.
Tips:
- Dependent data objects and read-only objects cannot be edited: check the properties of the object.
- Histograms and matrices cannot be edited.
- Special editors are available for raster, polygon, segment and point maps, user-defined domains, user-defined representations, etc.
