Customize

 

Customize the manner in which points are displayed in the point editor.

This dialog box appears when in the Point editor:

Dialog box options:

Color digitizer cursor:

Select a color in which the digitizer cursor should be displayed in the point editor; open the list box by clicking it. To create your own custom color, click the create button or select Custom at the bottom of the drop-down list.

Show text:

Select this check box if you want to see the class names, identifiers or values next to your points.

Mind: These texts are only meant for temporary orientation purposes.

Clear this check box if you do not want to display class names, identifiers or values next to points.

Text color:

Select a color for the class names, IDs, or values that will be displayed next to the points. To create your own custom color, click the create button or select Custom at the bottom of the drop-down list.

Background:

Select a background color on which the texts should be displayed.

Symbol type:

Select a symbol type with which the points should be displayed. The following symbols can be selected: circle, square, diamond, delta-up, delta-down, plus, minus and cross.

Symbol size:

Specify a value for the size with which the symbols should be displayed (values refer to screen pixels).

Pen width:

Specify a value for the size with which the outer part of circles, squares, diamonds or delta-ups or delta-downs should be displayed or with which plusses, minuses or crosses should be displayed (values refer to screen pixels).

Color:

Select a color for the outer part of circles, squares, diamonds or delta-ups or delta-downs, or for plusses, minuses or crosses as a whole. To create your own custom color, click the create button or select Custom at the bottom of the drop-down list.

Fill color:

Select a color to fill circles, squares, diamonds or delta-ups or delta-downs with.

Find undef color:

Select a color in which undefined points (i.e. points without value, class name or ID) should be displayed in case you use Find Undefineds from the Edit menu.

Settings are automatically stored in the registry.
