Algorithm

The program scans the polygon map polygon by polygon.

Each polygon is copied to the output map while:

• the class name or ID of each polygon in the input map is replaced with the attribute value that belongs to this class or ID as found in the attribute table.

Undefined values are assigned to an output polygon:

• if the polygon name in the input map is undefined, or
• if the class name, ID, or value in the selected attribute column is undefined.
