Internal domains

Some operations (can) create for their output map a new Class, ID or Picture domain that is not stored as a separate object but which is stored by the output map. You can use internal domains to reduce the number of domains shown in the Catalog. When the operation creates an internal domain of the Class or Picture type, then its representation is also stored by the output map (internal representation).

You can view internal domains and representations in the same way as normal domains and representations:

Internal domains and representations do not have their own Properties dialog box and cannot be shown as a table. For more information, see How to open internal domains and internal representations.

Mind: When you open an internal UniqueID domain, you can only edit the Prefix of the IDs.
