Font

A font, or typeface, is a collection of characters, letters, numerals, symbols and punctuation marks, that have common characteristics. Fonts have various sizes and styles.

• Font sizes indicate the height of a character and are measured in points; a point equals 1/72 of an inch.
• Font styles include bold and italics.
