How to create a map list
A map list is a set of raster maps, for example the bands of a satellite image. All raster maps in a map list must have the same domain and georeference.
To create a map list:
- from the File menu in the Main window, choose the Create Map List command, or
- in the Operation-tree, open the Create item, and double-click the New MapList item, or
- in the Operation-list, double-click the New MapList item, or
- in a dialog box which requires a map list as input, click the little create button next to a Map List list box.
In the Create Map List dialog box which follows, all raster maps in the current directory are listed. Select the maps that should be included in the map list.
To select two or more maps in sequence:
- click the first raster map you want to select,
- keep the left mouse button down, and
- move the mouse pointer to the last raster map you want to select,
- then release the left mouse button;
or
- click the first raster map you want to select,
- press and hold down the Shift key while you click the last raster map in the group.
To select two or more maps out of sequence:
- press and hold down the Ctrl key while you click each raster map.
To cancel a selected map:
- press and hold down the Ctrl key while you click a selected raster map.
Be sure that the selected maps have the same domain and georeference.
